Pet Birds' Surroundings

In a discussion of a bird's environment, consideration must be given to the cage, the surroundings, and all the activities in that area. The bird's house is his cage, but his home includes much more. For the bird to function properly and become an asset to his owner, he has to live in a pleasant environment.

Birds, probably more than any other animal, are sensitive to their surroundings. With suitable living conditions a bird will keep his feathers smooth and immaculately groomed-like a suit of clothes fresh from the dry cleaners.
