Dr. Edmund R. Dorosz has been a practicing veterinarian and college instructor to Animal Health Technicians for many years. After receiving his Bachelors of Science in Agriculture (B.S.A.) in 1966 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) in 1971, he was engaged in veterinary practice as well as instructing Animal Health Technicians.
In his many years of dealing with animal health and animal feeding, nutrition was an important component. Always attempting to be practical with animal owners and their animals, he strived to educate his clients and his students to look at the big picture. He asked them to understand and always question what they were doing with respect to the welfare of their animals.
Seeing the need for a practical approach to pet nutrition and feeding in our changing world inspired the books Let's Cook For Our Dog and Let's Cook For Our Cat.
He has always had an interest in art, drawing and painting, since childhood. The illustrations and watercolour paintings in the books are some of his latest works.
