At the present time the IFGA has specific color and tail classes for males and females. Single males entries that are delta tails (55-75 degrees) are shown in respective color classes. Single males that are veil tails (40-50 degrees) are show in specific veil tail classes. Tank entries (males only) consisting of two matched males must be shown in the respective color class regardless of tail shape. Naturally both males in the entry should be as similar as possible. Below are all the mandatory classes sponsored at every IFGA show.

I will try to clarify some of the above classes as best I can. AOC means "any other color" that is not covered in the show. Multi is a caudal with three distinct colors with at least 15% of the third color. Bi Color must have two distinct colors with 25% of the secondary color. A copy of the IFGA Judging Book will help to better understand the finer points to exhibiting and breeding to show standards.
